Merry Christmas from the Forsts!

Getting 5 toddlers and babies situated for a picture is a challenge and pretty funny. The series of photos is hilarious! All of us were together in Chicago in early November.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 2011 promises more challenges and surprises. It's good to know that we have our cousins for support no matter how apart we live.

The 3 Amigos (Forsts)

Greg sent Grandma B a picture of his three children today. FYI, they were all under 2 in this picture but Avery turns two tomorrow, Oct. 10. Quinn & Evelyn are three weeks old. Everyone looks calm and rested in this picture. Wonder if their parents can say the same!

Funerals and Cousins

Love seeing my Osborne cousins but it was at a funeral again. It sounds like Uncle Bill was ready to join the big party in heaven. Another terrific meal by the good folks at St. James. Linda says you gotta like "church lady" food! Pictured are Bev, Becky, Nancy, Pam, and Tom.

Uncle Bill

I received a call from Janice with the sad news that Uncle Bill Osborne has passed away. No details have been finalized about the viewing and burial.

Bev has two new grandchildren, Quinn Edward and Evelyn Jane. The twins were born yesterday (Friday the 17th) and needless to say, Bev hotfooted it right on up to Chicago. She kept Avery today since Avery had a slightly runny nose and couldn't make the trip to meet her siblings. When I talked to Bev today, Avery was attempting to hoodwink 'B' into skipping the nap.

Uncle Bill

Patrick says that Uncle Bill Osborne was moved from Hardin Memorial Hospital to Kensington Manor Care and Rehab last Thursday. That address is 225 Saint John Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. I don't know the room number.
If anyone has more recent information, send me an email and I will post it.

Whoohoo-A Wedding!

Nancy tells me that her sister, Suzy, is getting married today in Marietta, Georgia. The Pete Osborne cousins are getting to spend some time with the Spears cousins. Congratulations to all and happy partying!

The Girls-3rd & 4th Gen

This is Allison's daughter, Erin, and my granddaughter, Lane, on pool day. Lane was 15 months old on that day and is a real water baby! But we all know that swimming makes a person hungry. Thanks to Allison for being the official photographer.

3rd & 4th Generation Osborne Cousins

When Osborne cousins get together, we always lament that we don't see each other more often. Allison invited me, my daughter, Susan, and her son, and my daughter-in-law, Jenn, and her daughter over to swim. Cindy was able to take some time from work and went swimming with us too. Here is a picture of Allison's son, Trey, with my grandson and Susan's son, Joseph. Just two guys hanging out with seven females!

Wayne Osborne

Just before Randy's service was to start, Wayne had some sort of episode while sitting down. He was very flushed and his skin was clammy. He was able to walk out of the room but was obviously in some distress. After admitting that he had had symptoms since 3:00 AM, he was persuaded to go to Hardin Memorial to be checked out. I haven't heard anything else. Keep him in your prayers.

Funeral

I thought Fr.Stan Osborne did a nice job personalizing Randy's service. There are many touching posts on Randy's Facebook page that gave me some idea how he was perceived in the community. Kindness, generous, caring, and friend are some of the words used.

Randy Osborne

As most of you know, Randy died on Friday. Here is a link to his obit on the Brown Funeral Home site.

Aunt Sis's Funeral

It's always good to see the cousins but, unfortunately, funeral homes and funerals seem to be the meeting places. Thanks for making the effort to be there for Joe, Janice, and Rick.
