Baby Arrives!

Lane Sophia Forst was born at 5:49PM on May 6. She weighed in at 8 pounds and was 20 inches long. All are doing well and will leave Baptist Hospital East on Friday. I worked today, went right to the hospital to hold Lane, left and went to Susan's to hold Joseph. Can't wait for Avery to come to meet her cousins on Memorial Day weekend!

Thanks for Breakfast!

It would be difficult to know who did what at the birthday breakfast but one thing is for sure.... it was a lot of work and required a bunch of preparation! Thanks to all of Aunt Sis's family for letting the rest of us share in her birthday celebration.

A New Experience

This is a new experience. So you can teach an old dog new tricks. We are doing well in Colorado. Beth is getting back from SE Asia tomorrow. She went to the base camp of Mount Everest. Always looking for a new adventure. She and Josh are looking for new jobs. Josh has been teaching some LEED classes (green building) in Phoenix and refinishing furnature. He made some table leaves for us for Christmas. They turned out really well.

Margaret is still teaching and I am working for a utility. I am on the other side of the fence from where I worked for years. Interesting change.

We had one of our spring snow storms this week. About a foot in 15 or so hours. It is already melting as the temperature was in the 50 today.

I hope everyone is doing well. Stop by if you get to Colorado.

Getting the hang of blogging

I am not an accompblished blogger and I am a very visual learner. Jump in and test the water. You might find it rewarding or just a pain in the butt. You might get all-up-in-it for a time and completely ignore it for months.

thanks

Thanks for inviting me to the new Osborne cousins blog.

Welcome!

Hey cousins,
Here it is, the Osborne Cousins' Blog! My goal is that all invited folks can post on this blog. I don't know if you can add authors so if you can't, email me the addresses of other cousins.
Let's get the blog rolling!
